Late March to late June, few sightings in summer, and then late July to early October.

Habitat
Gardens, parks, woodland clearings.

Willows, elms, poplars, birches?

Similar Species in Nova Scotia
None.

Notes
This beautiful butterfly is also present in Europe where it is known as the "Camberwell Beauty".
