Habitat
Meadows, roadsides.

Larval Foodplants
Vetches (Viccia sp.), Beach Pea (Lathyrus japonica), White Sweet Clover (Melilotus alba ) and Alfalfa (Medicago sativa).

Similar Species in Nova Scotia
None.

Notes
Eggs are laid on flower buds, and the colour of the larvae depends on the colour of the flowers that they feed on.
